Triceps Stretch

Starting position for the Triceps Stretch
Starting position — Triceps Stretch

Why it matters

The Triceps Stretch builds strength and size in your triceps. As an isolation movement, it targets those muscles directly to build size and balance.

How to do it

  1. Ease into the position without forcing the range.
  2. Set your upper arms in position and keep your elbows pointing forward.
  3. Start with the resistance under control and your elbows fixed.
  4. Straighten your elbows to a full lockout.
  5. Squeeze your triceps at full lockout.
  6. Bend your elbows under control back to the start.
  7. Move to the first point of tension and hold there, breathing steadily.
