Dumbbell Tibialis Raise

Tibialis Anterior

Why it matters

The Tibialis Raise builds strength and size in your tibialis anterior. As an isolation movement, it targets those muscles directly to build size and balance.

How to do it

  1. Choose a pair you can control for every planned rep and get them into position cleanly.
  2. Set the balls of your feet on a stable surface with your heels free to drop.
  3. Find a light hold for balance if you need it.
  4. Rise onto the balls of your feet as high as you can.
  5. Pause for a beat at the top.
  6. Lower under control until you feel a full stretch through your calves.

Do the movement on flat ground before adding a deficit or load.
Once it is easy
