Rope Climb

Sled / ProwlerIntermediate

Why it matters

The Rope Climb develops strength and control through its range.

How to do it

  1. Load the sled to a weight you can move steadily and check the surface is clear ahead.
  2. Set a stable starting position appropriate to the movement.
  3. Take up any slack and set your position before the first rep.
  4. Move through the intended range under control from start to finish.
  5. Keep the working muscles under tension rather than using momentum.
  6. Return to the start under control before the next repetition.
