Starting position — Kettlebell Halo

Why it matters

The Kettlebell Halo develops strength and control through its range.

How to do it

  1. Set the bell in a solid rack or hold position with your wrist stacked and neutral.
  2. Set a stable starting position appropriate to the movement.
  3. Take up any slack and set your position before the first rep.
  4. Move through the intended range under control from start to finish.
  5. Keep the working muscles under tension rather than using momentum.
  6. Return to the start under control before the next repetition.
